About Me

Jade Riehl is a visual artist and designer based in Metro Detroit. A graduate of Central Michigan University with a BFA, her creative journey began at an early age through drawing, exploring different artistic techniques, and the inspiration of her grandfather, a painter.

Her artistic practice includes drawing, oil painting, and screen printing, with a focus on portraiture and visual storytelling. She is passionate about creating work that explores identity, representation, and the experiences that shape how we see ourselves and others.

Alongside her studio practice, Jade is interested in the gallery and exhibition world, particularly the ways art is presented, experienced, and connected to its audience. With a background in graphic design, she brings an understanding of visual communication, composition, and branding to her creative work.

Jade hopes to continue growing as an artist while building a career within the arts community, contributing to meaningful exhibitions, supporting artists, and helping create spaces where art can be experienced and appreciated.
